This musical trio was born from the reunion of three original members of the Francophone rock band David et Goliath, active in the late 1980s in Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie.
David Richard (vocals and guitar), Daniel Minville (guitars and vocals), and Alain Richard (bass), all from Grande-Vallée in Gaspésie, wanted to make music together again and share their love of the French language through their performances.
For nearly four years, they have captivated diverse audiences with a repertoire of over 75 songs, including mostly Quebecois tracks, a few French songs, and original compositions.
Whether in restaurants, at corporate events, in living rooms, or outdoor spaces, Spécial Trio adapts to create an enjoyable evening.
2026 promises to be a busy year for the trio, who also offer an “extra” format by adding two seasoned musicians to their lineup.
